let me catch you up
I'm a third culture kid: born in Hong Kong, raised in Boston and I call Manila home.
Growing up with my father (an architect) he often asked me, "Yuji, tell me what's wrong with this space," as soon as we entered a room. By 18 years old, I would get a rush when we began to point out a sloppy job of tiling or an ineffective color scheme.
This is how I learned that design defines an experience.
The biggest change is that now I focus on creating digital solutions for people. I am currently working on digitizing manufacturing for frontline workers with an amazing team at Tulip Interfaces!
